CBS
CBS is a growing synagogue centered among an expanding population of 150,000+ people. Our members are not only from all nearby areas of Riverside County, but come from as far away as San Bernardino and Orange Counties. Though we have grown substantially in recent years, we retain our intimacy, warmth and vitality.
The mission at CBS is to provide religious, educational, and activity centered services that meet the needs of Jewish families, couples and singles with a keen understanding of their diversity. As a member of United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, we are tapped into the network of communication that exists from all other congregations all over the country and the world.
We are a full service congregation providing services such as Brit Milah, Baby Naming, Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah training, post-B'nai Mitzvah Confirmation, Conversion, all phases of life cycle ceremonies, and counseling. We also have an established and growing Hebrew School and Adult Education programs.
We opened our new facility on April 5, 2009 and now enjoy a new beginning. Our sanctuary/social hall is over 2250 sq feet with school, office /library and kitchen another 2250 sq feet.
As we grow, we have plans for another building called our phase 2 which will be over 11,000 square feet.
CBS is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
