Congregation Beth Shalom Sisterhood is comprised of women who want to develop lasting relationships within the congregation while undertaking Tikun Olam projects. CBS women want to be a voice in the congregation and the greater community, and grow in their Jewish knowledge.

Sisterhood raises funds to support campership stipends for students, purchases Trees for Israel, repair and cleaning of the synagogue Torahs and other priorities that are identified.

The Sisterhood maintains a well-stocked Gift shop. If you don’t find it we can order it. Scrip can be purchased for almost any store, gas station or restaurant in the area and each purchase adds a donation to CBS.

Throughout the year the Sisterhood gathers for social events like olive tasting tours, Chanukah Bazaar, trips to the Apple Country, Sisterhood Tea, monthly dine-outs, weekly Mahjong and other social, educational and fun programs and activities.

Sisterhood is busy with events year-round. We meet monthly to come up with creative activities in which to learn and socialize.
